Jordan Henderson
Jordan Henderson (Ph.D., Florida State University) is a teacher, author, and scholar of Religions of Western Antiquity.
He is currently Dean of St. Athanasius College, where he teaches courses on Scripture within the Eastern Orthodox tradition. He has also taught courses on the Hebrew Bible, New Testament, the Christian Tradition, and World Religions at Florida State University.
His research interests include Greco-Roman, Jewish, and Christian historiography; ancient biography; the New Testament; and the first-century Jewish historian Josephus.
His first monograph, Defeat and Deliverance: Josephus’ Depictions of Foreign Invasions in the Antiquities, is currently undergoing peer review for publication. Other publications have appeared in the Journal for the Study of Greco-Roman Christianity and Judaism, The Asbury Journal, Religious Studies Review, and Ancient History Magazine.
